Pair of safety infrared photocells (safety infrared beam)
Can be used on any type of device: universal use 12V-24V AC / DC
Output contact NO (normally open) or NC (normally closed).
The photocells are constituted by a receiver(RX) and a transmitter(TX).
Maximum distance between transmitter and receiver: 15m
The photocells are a safety auxiliary ACTIVE device.
A beam of infrared light is transmitted from the transmitter photocell to the receiver photocell.
In case an obstacle causes the infrared beam discontinuation, it determines, during the closing operation, the reversal of the direction of travel of the gate.
It's a valid optional accessory to complete any automation system.
Appropriately positioned ( directly on the pillars or on dedicated columns ) it prevents any contact with any obstacle that passes the driveway during the closing of the gate.
ATTENTION:
All DUCATI gate and garage door openers already have an integrated security obstacle detection system. The integrated safety obstacle detection system controls the pressure exercised by the gate or door in case of impact on an obstacle and take off pressure within a very short time as required by the European norms.
The integrated safety system guarantees the safety of persons in full compliance with current European legislation:

As the integrated safety system does not prevent contact with the obstacle, photocells are a non-mandatory safety accessory that can be added to your automation to avoid contact with any obstacle.
Useful to avoid, for example, scratches to the bodywork of a vehicle crossing the driveway while the gate or door is closing
Attention: Photocells are mandatory obligatory in cases where the gate or the door open on a public area.
photocells can be installed directly on the pillar or columns dedicated.
Optionally you can also install more pairs of photocells on the same plant.
